New York Arbitration Week: November 17-21, 2025:
Theme, Call for Proposals, Sponsorship

NEW YORK, April 29, 2025 – The New York International Arbitration Center (NYIAC) and the New York Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArbNY) are pleased to provide further details about the New York Arbitration Week (NYAW) 2025.

Theme.  In a world increasingly defined by change and complexity, the field of international arbitration faces both formidable challenges and exciting opportunities.  That is why this year’s NYAW’s theme will be “Searching for the North Star.”   This theme speaks to our community’s quest for improvement and adaptability within the rapidly evolving landscape of international arbitration.  Parties, practitioners, arbitrators, institutions, and other stakeholders are all searching for the guiding light of the proverbial North Star to steer us through complex issues of today’s world, including those of legitimacy, transparency, diversity, efficiency, and sustainability of international arbitration.

Call for Proposals.  Please contact us with any programming proposals at [email protected] (copying Committee Secretaries Rocio Monzon ([email protected]) and Lucila Marchini ([email protected])) with “NYAW 2025 – Proposal” in the subject line. Programming proposals should be submitted by June 20, 2025, and should include a brief description of the program, the proposed format, and, if possible, recommended speakers.   In proposing speakers, please ensure diversity of panelists.  Involvement of in-house counsel is strongly recommended.

Sponsorship Opportunity.  Finally, it is the Organizing Committee’s honor to invite your organizations to support NYAW 2025. The Sponsorship Guidelines outline the critical importance of your support for NYAW 2025 and the specific benefits your organizations will receive from collaborating with this important and exciting program. If your organization is interested in sponsoring NYAW 2025, please complete the sponsorship pledge form as indicated in the Sponsorship Guidelines and submit it to [email protected]  (copying Committee Secretaries Zack Lindsey ([email protected]) and Lynn Moubarak ([email protected])) with “NYAW 2025 – Pledge Form” in the subject line. Sponsorship opportunities are open to law firms (with or without presence in the United States) and to non-for-profit organizations (who may participate in NYAW 2025 as promotional partners).
